Application for recognition of professional competence

Before you start

Prepare the following documents to apply:

• a copy of the personal identity document,
• a certified copy of a document on professional competence or an official translation of a document on professional competence (or other related documents),
• a document proving your experience in relevant profession for at least one year in an employment relationship for the established weekly working hours - or in the equivalent duration of an employment relationship for shorter working hours – within the previous ten years, issued by the applicant's employer, if the activity/profession requested to be recognized in the territory of the Slovak Republic is not a regulated profession in the state in which the applicant obtained professional competence;
• confirmation of payment of the administrative fee 25 euro (for full electronic submission from the ÚPVS portal, the administrative fee is 12.50 euro).

The application will be submitted through the slovensko.sk portal.
